2003 HSO PAC Communications Sub
Committee Charge:
To function in a resource and advisory capacity to
assist in disseminating career development and training information to HSOs;
To identify issues of interest and facilitate the resolution of concerns as they
relate to career development and training; and
To support personnel needs of HSOs by disseminating information via the HSO Web
site, offering training resources, and developing short and long-term category
force utilization and professional development.
Acting Subcommittee Chair:
CDR Cheryl Wiseman.
Subcommittee Team Leaders:
Team 1:
Education and Career Development website maintenance. Lead:
LCDR Cheryl Lynn Fajardo. This group will
have to investigate how and where we need to keep our site updated and
develop HS officer matrix.
Team 2: Promotions.
Lead: LCDR Janet Cliatt. This
group should keep abreast of new developments /policies, and function in
a resource and advisory capacity. They should work closely with our CPO and
the Commissioned Officer Training Academy (COTA) for guidance.
Team 3: HS
Officer Support and COA Planning. Lead:
CDR Barbara Olaniyan. This group should identify issues of interest
and facilitate resolution of concerns as they relate to career development
and training. They may track and develop short and long term category force
utilization and professional development. They should also be responsible to
plan a role in the next COA meeting.
Team 4:
HS
Resources. Lead: LT Leshia K. Jones.
This group will identify and disseminate career development and education
information that is relevant to HS officers
Subcommittee Consultant:
CAPT Amy Barkin is a subject matter
expert for the Education and Career Subcommittee.
